I'm Jet Ameti. I do mortgages — and I build the tools that explain them.
By day, I'm a loan officer at Neighborhood Loans (NMLS #222982); my individual NMLS ID is #757627. By training and temperament, I'm also an engineer — I work in IT and software development, which means I don't just quote mortgages. I build calculators, checklists, and guides that help you understand them before you ever talk to a lender. Including me.
That's my whole philosophy: understand your mortgage before a lender explains it to you. The math isn't that complicated once someone explains it honestly — what you can afford, what your payment really includes, when refinancing actually pays off. I'd rather you show up informed than show up sold.
When you work with me, there's no handoff to a processing queue and no 1-800 number. You talk to me from the first question to the final signature — and I stick around after closing with annual checkups, PMI-drop alerts, and a refinance watch on your loan. My clients aren't transactions. They're the reason I have a business.
